So Chris "Beanie" Wells is officially out for tomorrow's game against USC. First he was doubtful. Then he was a game time decision. Now, he's out. Initially, as stated in a previous post, I thought that OSU would hang in there until the fourth. However, with this news, USC might leave cleat marks in Ohio State's defense. James Laurinaitis might get whip lash from watching USC's talent fly by him on a downly basis. And just for the record, Laurinaitis isn't worthy to lick the dirt from Rey Maualuga's cleats. Just thought I'd say that.
And in case you were worried; USC has released the list of celebrities and athletes who will be attending Saturday night's skirmish:
Hollywood:
Jamie Foxx
Denzel Washington
Nick Lachey
Christian Slater
Henry Winkler
John Krasinski
Ed Helms
Robert Patrick
Kaitlin Olson
David James Elliot
Zach Galifianakis
George Eads
Jerry Bruckheimer
Alexis Jones
Sports:
Dick Butkus
Isiah Thomas
Michael Strahan
Eddie George
Greg Oden
Amare Stoudemire
Anna Rawson
John David Washington
USC Football Alumni:
Anthony Munoz
Ronnie Lott
Marcus Allen
Charles White
Sam Cunningham
Rodney Peete
Dennis Thurman
Johnnie Morton
Todd Marinovich
Sean Salisbury
Jeff Bregel
Chris Hale
Mazio Royster
Malaefou MacKenzie
David Kirtman
After running through the list, I had to google some names to reacquaint myself with them. Robert Patrick played the T-1000 in Terminator 2 opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger. George Eads is on CSI: Insert City apparently. Kaitlin Olson is the hot chick on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. David James Elliot was on JAG. Alexis Jones was on Survivor: Insert Island. And Nick Lachey was apparently is some sort of band. This is the biggest game of the year, and this is the list of "celebrities" USC can get? I can get better celebs at my buddy's kegger.
Anyway, nice to see that Donnie Walsh is letting Isiah Thomas out.
